This
www.smh.com.au/national/this-c… made me believe this world is
really fucked up and is never fair in anyone's eyes. Whenever anyone dares to say us Asians are sick rich bastards, I tell them your country is no better, so you shouldn't say that in my face.
I would just first like to say I am an Asian myself, a 19 year old Chinese girl who was born and raised in Sydney Australia. People believe I am really young since I first act quiet towards them before I go hyper like a child when I get to know them. I can act mature when it needs to be, but I can go insane if anyone ever dares to mess with me. Like most Asians, I have been bullied, but this was only in high school. I forgave them but it will remind me I cannot let anyone abuse me, that's why today I fight back whoever dares to mess with me. Friends can go over board and I admit, I will hit them if they piss me off too much. But really, sometimes when someone doesn't feel like they're in the mood for funny jokes, you shouldn't push their buttons at
all.
Us Asians work hard like everybody else who does, what you get is what you earned. China isn't that great. The traffic, the rudeness of people, the condition there are pretty bad, and I understand why the Chinese wants to come here and to other countries. Sydney's environment feels better than China's and the education is good as well (but I still think Asia's are better). Plus, Asian cultures are taught to work very hard all the time. If someone wants a better life, I believe that it would be the best to earn it to the point of their very own satisfaction. And if you don't like us Asians,
stop complaining about it and do your own work to get better things than us. No one is stopping you but your envious selves. But no one should really be envious of what the 'rich' has. I'm an Asian who
supposedly be a really smart according my family who lives in China, but I'm not. I go to an alright university - not NSW, nor USYD; my cousins achieved better than me and were always praised for it by all the families, and I don't believe my family is rich like 'all Asians should'. But I grew passed it, and made me realized what I have matters. And if I want something better, I will try my best to earn it and ignore everyone else who has it. I can go 'I waaaant D:' but I wouldn't be so low to steal and say 'They're Asians, rob THEM!'
And also, we are not all bad. Everyone is different, just because one person is Asian who did a horrible deed doesn't mean all Asians are bad? Do expect me to say all Japanese and other Asians are horrible for what they did to China in the past and for not apologizing? Do you expect me to say America is fat bimbos who are lazy? Do expect me to say that what Germans did in the past are still the same today? Do you expect me to say that my own countries, both China and Australia, are bad for what they did in the past? One for running over a little girl twice, and another for this incident respectively?
I will not stoop that low, because not everyone is like that. If someone is bad, they themselves are bad.
By the way, to all those who really think that way on us Asians and other countries:
Shame on you.
For you guys must be near adulthood to even know this world doesn't need to cling to the past and how weird everyone's cultures are. If you're planning to have kids, I hope they grow up to be a way better person than you or see what kind of monster you have created that is no longer needed in this world. I don't wish for yourselves to get robbed, but I hope one day you will see what you have done was wrong, thought about it and let them go before it is too late.
And on another note: Kids and teenagers shouldn't really be getting away with anything. I have heard of
many of them who have stolen stuff from my family stores. And the security and police do nothing, just asked did we hit them (which we do no). Kids and teenagers cannot be considered as endangered species, if you let them off on their own crime, what says they won't ever do it again? A taste of their punishment is what makes everybody possibly think and reflect, or stay forever ignorant of their ways and grow up to be their society's and race's worst example.
If anyone bothered to read this to the end, thank you.
